However, an idea while we wait for Inbox, what if we provide a Mentions filter on the Discussions Panel?

This keeps users in the shared context of the Site while still helping them catch up on relevant conversations. It's also more flexible and integrates cleanly with future filtering (by type, author, etc.).

Think of it like Twitter’s “Mentions,” but applied as a dynamic lens over our collaborative site.
